Mac.1 - Faded - Official Video

After working with Mac.1 as the featured artist on the ‘Shezar - Forever’ track, we had to work with each other again. Mac brings a huge amount of energy to his performances which translates to camera very well, providing a strong, powerful base to work with when cutting it together. A JumpWide production directed by Andrew Grayshon, DOP’d by myself.

We had a simple creative brief in mind mostly filming on green screen and standard studio walls over a couple of days, we also had a night shoot in a camera van picking up the London backdrops to use as a desaturated base put behind the artists. Mac wanted us to create a video that is filled with action, fast paced cuts and power that makes the viewer want to watch again to see what they missed the first time, so we got to work. This official video brings high levels of strobe lighting so please avoid watching if you have photosensitive epilepsy.

Much more Mac.1 to come this year so keep an eye out for him.

A few videos for your enjoyment

‘Thunderheist - Jerk it’ - Great simple concept video, shot on the RedOne.

‘Power’ by Kanye West shows a very well produced, post heavy music promo. This was one continuous slow motion camera move and a lot of compositing work.

This video for ‘Rusko’s - Everyday’ was shot on the Arri Alexa, some great examples of grading and Steadicam work.
